A snapshot of my Ancestry page

My ancestry is shown on the left, along with the first four generations above me. This constitutes my great-great-grandparents (2GG). Although deeper documents are included in this archives, it gets tougher to display them the further back you go.

Some family names will be included as separate articles in this wiki, since there are documents and research that traverse multiple generations. Links to photo and document collections will be included in relevant locations, as will links to the Ancestry.com pages for those who subscribe.

Since this is a public wiki, users are encouraged to add commentary, include edits, and link to their own research or knowledge of data, documents, photographs, or locations of interest.

Ancestry's Family Group Record

While some genealogists use the pedigree chart, based on the Ahnentafel Numbering Method, I have always used the Ancestry Family Group Record approach since so much information and documents apply to both members of a family group.
